Our client is a well-established installer of solar PV for the commercial sector with a particular specialisation in social housing projects. Having already installed over 9MW of solar they have an outstanding reputation for the funding and delivery on a national basis. Working with a key funding partner they now have the funding, support and delivery infrastructure to considerably grow the business, already in excess of £15m. Your focus will be on commercial rooftop and social housing sectors.
Applicants should have a proven track record of selling commercial scale solar PV projects, ideally some of this experience selling to social housing. The companies ‘sweet-spot’ for funding is the 50kwp to 250kwp market, experience of selling projects in this area is vital, as is an understanding of PPA funding.
You should also have;
• A minimum of 2 year working for a solar installer.
• Strong financial acumen, ideally having sold financed solutions and solar installations.
• Comfortable with Financial Analysis and how individual project parameters impact on project returns.
• Familiar with the installation process from planning to DNO applications to onsite surveying.
• A full UK driving licence.
Duties and responsibilities;
• Develop business in commercial roof-top and social housing sectors
• Build and manage a sales pipeline to facilitate required sales targets.
• Communicate with all external stakeholders and the in-house management and delivery team.
• Achieve sales targets in line with company expectations.
• Ensure at all times the integrity and reputation of the company are maintained and enhanced.
